I played Juanita, a Spanish Contessa who raised thorough bred horses, and who fell in love with a man her husband, the Count, had sentenced to death. Juanita slipped into the prison, untied the lover, and arranged a horse and supplies for his escape. She later joined him. The Count spent months tracking them down until he had them cornered in the rugged mountains of the Sierra. A violent gunfight broke out with one of the bullets hitting Juanita. She died in the arms of her lover before the Count could take her body back to the Hacienda.
