About Brenda

As a very young woman, Brenda Venus met the famed Henry Miller. He was the father of the SEXUAL REVOLUTION. He became her mentor, and she his muse, his inspiration. In just four years, he wrote her 4000 pages of letters. They were collected and condensed for the book, "Dear Dear Brenda," which represents Miller's last significant body of work-- comparable to, "Tropic of Cancer."

Her next book turned to the subject of seduction in which she grabs men by the hand and shows them the secret places and yearnings of a women in the book HOW TO BE THE BEST LOVER YOUR WOMAN EVER HAD. It was translated into over 27 languages and became an international best seller. After the success of the men's book, she wrote a sequel entitled SECRETS OF SEDUCTION FOR WOMEN. Aside from being Henry Miller's last "love goddess", and best selling author, Brenda Venus is also an actress, ballet dancer, director and producer and has been painted by some of the most famous artists in the world. In the interim, she freelances for magazines such as Cosmopolitan, Details, etc., and has written 3 new books and 2 screenplays.

A former beauty queen, Venus captured the title of MISS TEXAS UNIVERSE and was runner-up in the MISS UNIVERSE pageant. She graced the silver screen in the Clint Eastwood film, EIGER SANCTION and in several other films such as FM, 48 HOURS, VALENTINO, VAMPIRELLA, THE BALLERINA, and AGAINST A CROOKED SKY. She also appeared on THE BOLD AND THE BEAUTIFUL.

During the spring of 1997, she posed for a celebrity nude pictorial in Playboy Magazine, and also posed as a celebrity centerfold for MUSCLE AND FITNESS Magazine. Later, CELEBRITY SLEUTH did 2 pictorials on Venus voting her one of the 25 most beautiful women of 2000, and number 10 most beautiful breasts in the world.

She hosted her own radio show on K-ROCK in Salt Lake City, Utah, talking with listeners about masterful lovemaking, sex, relationships, romance, love, sex, and more sex. After finishing the show, she returned to Los Angeles and shot a coffee table book with photographer, Ken Marcus, simply called... VENUS

For over five years, she created and wrote the infamous CENTERFOLDS ON SEX for Playboy Magazine. Every week, a different Playmate would come to her Penthouse in Beverly Hills, and discuss men and sex for hours. And during this time, at the infamous Mansion, Hugh Hefner hosted the most anticipated party of the year, "A Midsummer Night's Dream" and the author wrote a detailed article about that wondrous night.

Some time later, she was invited to 'opening night' in Moscow, Russia as the guest of President Vladamir Putin to see a play about her life with Miller, also entitled VENUS. The part of Brenda Venus was performed by the lovely Svetlana Khorkina, Olympic gold-medal-winner in gymnastics. Svetlana was excellent!

However, recently, Venus wrote, shot, produced, directed and edited a film inspired from her seduction books entitled, LOVE & SEX IN L.A.
